The Paper Auctioneer's book (Auctioneer's Sheets)

It is possible to print a paper auctioneer’s book (sometimes known as auctioneer’s sheets or selling sheets) from Snoofa.

When using Snoofa Live bidding, the paper auctioneer’s book doesn’t need to be used as all of the bids are recorded in the system. However, some auctioneers prefer to still use it as a back-up in case of mistakes or because they feel comfortable using it.

If not using Snoofa Live, then it will be necessary to use the physical sheets as the bids are not being recorded by the system & clerk/operator as the auction progresses.

Generating the Book

Generating the auctioneer’s book is simple enough to do.

Find the relevant auction by click Auctions on the main menu and select the auction.
Hover over the Actions dropdown on the top right and select Generate Auctioneers Book
You’ll now have the option to generate different versions of the auctioneer’s book: Compact Large with images Large without images You can also select a lot interval e.g. lot 50 - 100. Entering nothing in the To Lot field will generate the whole auction. Note that if your auction exceeds 500 lots it may be necessary to generate the auctioneer’s book in more than one batch. It may also take a few minutes for the document to generate.
Once it has finished generating, you will receive a notification in your notifications bar.
You should now see a button called Auctioneers Book on the auction dashboard. Click this to produce and then print the document.
