We’ve added a new auction type: Sealed Bids. This auction type can be selected when creating a new auction. This auction takes a slightly different form to live and timed auctions. Clients submit their bids via a free text box and admins are able to add sealed bids on behalf of clients, including a time stamp of when the bid was received.

We’ve made some big improvements of how to schedule auctions. It is now possible to easily set up multi-day auctions and specify which lots will be sold in the specific days.

It is now possible to specify how many physical items are within a specific item. This figure can be added on the item detail page or via the consignment screen. If anything is entered here, it will show on the collection paperwork, to help ensure all items can be accounted for.

The Cover images will now be highlighted in the File Manager window when uploading images to an individual item, to make clear which image this is.

We had feedback that the sticky Delete button was too prominent on the item detail when being used on mobiles. It was too easy to click the Delete button by mistake. In light of this, we’ve made this button smaller, so it is less likely to be clicked by mistake.

We’ve renamed Launch Date to Catalogue Launch to make this clearer for administrators and bidders.

In most cases, the person collecting the items in a collection will be the person to whom the invoice is addressed. To save time, the Collector field will now be populated by default with the invoice owner name. It is still possible to change this to another client if necessary.
