Bidding increments can be set for an individual auction as well as on a global level, allowing you to have your usual increments set at all times but able to change them for a particular auction if needed.
Important: changing the global increments won’t change the increments for any existing auctions, only for future auctions.
TABLE OF CONTENTS
Note: increments must be positive integers separated by a comma, such as 5, 10, 15.
Changing Global Increments
- Adding/changing global increments is easy: go to System Settings > General, which will show you Sale Settings, including the Bid Value Increments section. All you need to do is enter your increments, separated by a comma. These increments will apply globally to all auctions - unless you change a particular auctions increments.
Changing Increments for a specific Auction
- You can change (from the global) a particular auctions increments by going to the auction you wish to change the increments for and choosing to edit the auction, then, within the Edit Auction page, scroll down to find advanced settings (near the bottom of the page).
Note: you can also change (from the global) the increments for an auction when first adding / creating an auction. Again by scrolling down to find advanced settings (near bottom) on the Add New Auction page.
