Editing Resolved Lots

We identified some scenarios during which an administrator might need to make a change to a lot that has been resolved. Perhaps, during invoicing, for example, or a client gets in touch and wants changes to be made on a lot listing in an archived auction. To cater for these situations, we needed a way to edit the lot-specific properties of these resolved lots.

It is now possible to edit these properties from the Item Detail form. The inline editing will continue to work as prior to this change and only influence the item properties (this applies in Lot Sort List and Item Editable List).

When a user wants to edit information for a lot that’s already been resolved, we need them to specify which of these lots they want to edit. To achieve this a select input has been added to the top of this form. When clicked, it lists all the Resolved lots associated with this item. When a lot is selected, only the Lot specific fields can be edited other fields get disabled (or disappear completely) to clearly communicate to the user that everything else is taken from the definition of the Item.

Settlements showing Unsold Lots

Settlement Statements can now show unsold lots. This facility can be turned on and off via Settings > General > Settlement Settings for backward compatibility.

Added Number of Pages onto Consignments

Some clients only see the first page with 5 lots and signatures, then reach out to the auction house that there are lots missing on their CA. So we have added the ability to enable it by editing “Document Simple Footer” and “Document Detailed Footer” in Settings > Appearance > Paperwork. 

Hyperlink Now Working in Client Notes

The Insert Link "Hyperlink" on Client Notes is now working and allows you to link to a website, from your Client Notes.

Invoice Questionnaire Gremlin Sorted

For those with Invoice Questionnaires set to No in Settings > General > Invoice Settings, a Gremlin was showing Clients looking at Invoices within the Client-Zone a message about completing the questionnaire and causing confusion.  This Gremlin has been shown the door. 

Issue Adding New Auctions Fixed

Some were confused when trying to add a new auction, when nothing was saved after clicking the Create New button. This was because of blank fields in Advanced Settings, but there was no indication of this unless Advanced Settings were click on. So we have now added these warnings.

Other Stuff

The release also includes other fixes and updates, but nothing normal people would want to know about. But they are there to help keep things running.
