Filters are a very valuable tool to be able to narrow down datagrids to only show the information that you are interested in. Read on to find out more.
Date Interval Filters
In some areas of Snoofa, including the global (homepage) dashboard and the Reports area, you will find date filters. These allow you to filter the information you want to see between the set dates.
On the dashboard you will see the auctions and information from those auctions that fall between those dates. It is the same for the reports.
Datagrid Filters
By far the most common filters in the system are the datagrid filters. These differ for every screen you are looking at, but show in a multitude of places.
Often the filters are hidden by default to save space. To reveal them click the Show Filter button.
You can of course use multiple filters at once. An example from the clients datagrid might be filtering VIP clients who have the buyer role.
Ordering Columns
In addition to filters, it is possible to order the results on the datagrids. Anywhere you can see the ↕️ symbol means the screen can be ordered by the information in this column. A useful example below is ordering consignments by date created.
A useful thing to know is these column filters do not work in tandem together. So if one of them is ‘on’ (only one arrow is visible ⬆️ or ⬇️) then this must be ‘turned off’ for another filter to work. Columns with the ↕️ symbol showing are not ‘on’.
