How-To Understand Detail Page
We are going to start by explaining a Consignment Detail Page, starting top left & going to bottom right. The below image shows the top line, left to right, & the table below explains what you need to know about the fields contained.
Consignment Detail Top
Form Field | Explanation |
---|---|
Consignment Number (aka CA Number or Just Consignment Agreement) | In the above example, the Consignment Number is #10002, each time a new Consignment is created, it will be given a new unique number by the system. You can choose this number on creation should you wish, including also using letters. But we recommend keeping to numbers only, so the system can remain consistent and incremental. |
Name of the Client (Vendor) of the Consignment | In this example, the Clients name is Archie Harrison. The name is also a link, that can be used to bring up a side bar of the Clients Account, giving their address & other details, which can also be edited from the side bar. |
Status / Settings of the Consignment | This gives you a quick view of what the statuses / settings of the Consignment are. In the example, you have LDL:Yes (Loss & Damage Liability), & IC: 5% (Introducer Commission of 5%). |
Actions Drop Down Box | A drop down box giving you various actions you can perform, dependent on where you are within Snoofa. In this example, it would enable you to mark Items as sensitive, or generate labels. |
Button Options | These buttons allow you to perform particular tasks, e.g., Edit the Consignment, Edit the Vendor, etc. Very much what the button labels suggest. |
Search Filter | Enabling you to search & filter the Consignment, helping you do your job quicker. |
Add New Item + | If you wish to add a new Item, just hit the + plus sign & Snoofa will enable a new row at the bottom of your current list, for you to fill in as needed. |
Show / Hide | Clicking this button will bring you a drop down list, which allows you to choose what is shown of each Item on the datagrid below. E.g., you could untick Revenue Rate, which would remove the column showing UK VAT Rate, in our example images. |
