Sensitive & Private Items - Now You See Me Admin Web
Snoofa allows you to mark Items as Sensitive or Private, should you need. There are many potential reasons you may want or need to do this, so in case you do, Snoofa enables it, with just a few clicks.
What is the difference? Glad you asked. When you mark an Item as Sensitive, some of the information that is normally on its Lots detail page viewable to the public, becomes hidden. This usually means the estimates, starting bid & hammer prices.
NOTE: For marking as Sensitive to take effect, an Auction must have ended.
When you mark an Item as Private, its Lots become invisible to the viewing public. No trace they existed, except the missing Lot Number. But don't fear, both Private & Sensitive can be undone, with the Item being set once again to Public, anytime you choose.

Of course Items are created by default as Public, so how do we set them to Sensitive? To set an individual Item & therefore its Lots to Sensitive, head to the specific Item - Edit Item page. Scroll all the way down to Advanced Settings, & you will see the Visibility section.
The Visibility drop down allows you to choose between, Public, Sensitive & Private. Just choose & click Save Changes.

There are also ways to change the Visibility of Items in bulk. E.g. when within the Items area Datagrid, an option has been added to the selection drop down. Select all or the specific Items whose Visibility you wish to change, the drop down selection box will appear & contains a Change Visibility option, this in turn gives you the Public, Sensitive & Private options to choose between.

Within the Items & Consignments Datagrids we have also made it easier to spot the Visibility status of each Item. An icon showing you if the Item is set to Sensitive or Private, within the Title column. As well as a Visibility column, spelling out the Items status, within the Items Datagrid.

Finally, within the Client (in this case vendor) Detail page, the Actions drop down gives the option to mark all Items owned by the Client as Sensitive. As well as all Items within the Consignment Summary page to Sensitive.
