January is now over and with it we give you Snoofa v22.5. Have a quick read to see what has changed.
Latest Updates
‡ Auction Symbols are clearer | |

WEB MODULE There are some symbols that display on the lot detail page. These communicate additional, often financial, information about the lot such as CITES or import duty apply. Pretty important stuff, so we’ve made sure that this is clearer to ensure bidders will struggle to miss it, and made the associated tooltip message more conspicuous. More information about logging CITES items in Snoofa |
Update of Payouts CSV Explanation | |
---|---|
ADMIN MODULE There was some confusion as to the use of the Payouts CSV file. It only includes bank details for settlements which are not yet marked as fully paid. We’ve updated the text to make this clearer. |
Bug Fixes
There was a rather tedious scenario where sometimes the buyer premium charge was missing from some lots in an auction. Understandably, not very helpful. So we’ve fixed it. We even added an altering system so we’d know if it ever did happen again.
A rare scenario occurred when a buyer paid their invoice through the client zone, didn’t complete the payment, and then an administrator marked the invoice as paid on their side. The yellow ‘invoice not paid’ banner would still display to the client in the client zone when perhaps they’d paid by other means. So we’ve removed the rogue banner when it is unwelcome.
When a valuation appointment had been cancelled, for some reason the time slot did not become available again to book for someone else. The total appointments listed in the administration also didn’t adjust. The good news is the problem is sorted.
There was a quirk in the system that meant an item couldn’t be marked as collected unless it had a lot number in an auction. Rest assured, now you can mark any item as collected as you should be able to.
We’ve made a text change on the valuation day appointment detail page. ‘Instrument Type’ now reads ‘Item Type’.
