Auction Categories - Add & Edit
Auction Categories are optional, but great for communicating to your Clients what your sale is about. For instance your sale might be Home & Garden Items, or Medals & Militaria and using a Category helps to make that clear.

How-To Add Auction Categories
Login to your Admin, go to Auction Categories within System Settings & hit the + Add New Category button. The form is as simple as Name & Description. Name is required and is exactly what it suggests, the name of your Category, or thought of another way; the type of sales you have, e.g. Fine Art.
Description is optional, and can be viewed by clients as a hover state (when they pause over the category name) in catalogue view, here you can provide some details that your colleagues and clients might need for understanding a particular category.
Editing Name & Description is as easy as going back into a Category, clicking on the one you wish to edit, then change and save.
